The sunshine, it won't stop. It's like the sun burns just for me.
Oh, the birds, they sing but hate everything.
You know it doesn't have to be like this, if it has to be like this.
So, I hold on because I'm scared to just let go.

So, what's it gonna be? Suicide or sleeping?
Well, I was never the one to fake it anyway.
Only in hell would I live forever.

The sun’s on mountaintops.
I want to tear it down, I swear.
But the clouds are just down here, it’s always blue up there.
The sunshine it won’t stop-it’s grace gets lost on me.
Do you realize you’re asleep and they get your dreams for free?

It doesn’t have to be like this, if it has to be like this.
